The player is then sent to Dry Land to stop the X-Virus spreading and must defeat MaloMyotismon. This is where the first real boss appears, Apocalymon. The player is then sent to destroy the "Doom Dome". When it is completed the player finds out that The Doom Server may in fact be The Yamato Server. They are sent to the first area of the game named Death Valley to search for Chief Leomon. "The Yamato Server" has disappeared, and a new server known as "The Doom Server" has taken its place. The hit and run tatics are all you really need to get by, but you have many weapon types and moves at your disposal. The gameplay is fun though monotonous at times. The sound had its ups and downs: some songs you liked, most you didn't or you don't remember them because it didn't grab you. The graphics aren't that great, the enviroments are very plain and the character models are okay. This doesn't suck as much as I thought it would, which shocked me since all other Digimon World games really stink. Rather, I shall mention that, if you have ANY interest in Digimon or monster-breeding games, don't pass up on Digimon World 1 to 3, all three of which are unique experiences and vastly superior to DW4. Not because of DW4, mind you - his review of this game is pretty much perfect, it's an enjoyably mediocre game through and through.
